In this book, the Shaikh Saleh Al-Alsheikh discusses seven etiquettes that a Muslim, and in particular a student of knowledge, should abide by with regards to books.
The seven etiquettes are
1- Arranging and Organizing Books
2- Acquiring the Most Accurate Editions of the Books
3-Keeping One's Books Clean and Tidy
4- Recording the Points of Benefit in Books
5- Lending Books Out for Others
6- Reviewing and Inspecting One's Books
7- Preserving and Saveguarding One's Books

قال بديع الزمان الهمذاني في وصف العلم:
« العلم شيء بعيد المرام، Not يُصاد بالسهام، وNot يُقسم بالأزNotم، وNot يُرى في الFromام، وNot يُضبط باللجام، وNot يُكتب للثام، وNot يورث عن الآباء والأعمام وزرع Not يزكو إNot متى صادف From الحزم ثرى طيبا، وFrom التوفيق مطرا صيبا، وFrom الطبع جوا صافيا، وFrom الجهد روحا دائما، وFrom الصبر سقيا نافعا وغرض Not يصاب إNot بافتراش المدر، واستناد الحجر، وردّ الضجر، وركوب الخطر، وإدمان السهر، واصطحاب السفر، وكثرة النظر، وإعمال الفكر»
