Jazaki Allah khayran
Though I see that it is harmful for a woman to take such pills since it is a natural stage each woman should pass monthly. Moreover, taking such pills could cause her dizziness, bleeding, bad moods,.. etc
These medicines could mess up the hormones in woman's body. That's why I don't recommend it, esp for an unmarried woman.
The scholars-alhumdulillah- had said that if it doesn't cause harm unless she is need to take these pills to perform her Umra or Hajj..
God only knows best.

Sure your are absolutely right on what you have said. Unfortunately not so many women are aware of long-term side effects of taking such medication. They just take it without thinking about consequences, and sometimes without even consulting a doctor, and still insist to be on those pills mainly when one of them is pretty sure that her period is going to be during the last ten days of Ramadan.

As you have said al-hamdulillah it is ONLY permissible PROVIDING THAT it does not cause harm (which is rare by the way! and depends on so many variables)
