افتراضي Advice to whom falls behind jumu'a prayer by Shaykh Fawzan

The noble scholar Saleh bin Fawzan Al Fawzan

Question:

What is the advice to the student of knowledge who get to jumu'a or the jama'a late?

Answer:

The prophet salla Allahu 'alayhi wa salam said: whoever misses three consecutive Friday prayers out of negligence will have a seal put over his heart.
And the prophet salla Allahu 'alayhi wa salam said: "People should definitely stop neglecting Jumu'a, or else Allah will most certainly seal their hearts and they will most certainly be among the heedless."
It is not permissible for the one who is near the masjid (the jami') when he hears the adan. It is not permissible for him to fall behind the jumu'a prayer. Allah The Almighty says: O you who believe, when the call is made for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah, come to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.
More than that it is not permissible for him to leave the jama'a (group prayer) of the five (daily) prayers. Allah The Almighty says: In mosques, which Allah has ordered to be raised and that His name be mentionned therein, glorifying Him within them in the morning and the evenings. Men whom neither trade nor sale distracts them from the remembrance of Allah and performing the prayer and giving the zakat. They fear a day in which the hearts and eyes will be overturned.
It is not permissible to fall behind from the jumu'a prayer nor the jama'a to whomever hears the call, the prophet salla Allahu 'alayhi wa salam said: "Whoever hears the call to prayer and does not respond with no excuse his prayer is not valid. They said what is the excuse? He said: a fear or being sick.
